2.2 introducing the terminal and the shell console
Red hat Linux 9 provides us with a text edge in the outline of the terminal along with the shell console the terminal and the shell console are also referred to as the command line we can interact with the system using command in the text interface we can select to work in the graphical or the text edge without restarting the system.
